Our School Has Love No Violence mobility

Partner schools from Greece, Slovenia and Turkey have met in Slovenia for the first time. After an official reception and welcome at Rogatec Primary School, we carried out a meeting agenda review, an introductory meeting of the partners, and a general overview of the activities up to date. Then, we listened to a seminar about inclusive education and its benefits and examined examples of good practices at Slovenian school. We carried on with our activities with sample events and presentation of different approaches to children with special needs. On Tuesday, the mayor of Rogatec welcomed us to Slovenia in the city hall. On Wednesday we looked at different studies on the topic and saw a performance of “The Enormous Turnip” which was a presentation of drama activity for parents and students to interact together. We did a horseback riding activity and a yoga stress reduction activity to prevent violence and bullying. The partners from Greece and Turkey presented their activities to date. All three partners attended a communication activity with a game and a Lego design work activity. The partners discussed the project’s website, eTwinning, Beneficiary Module and their main aim which is developing the three guides by the end of the project. On the last day of mobility, the partners planned the activities for the upcoming months, deadlines and carried out a summary meeting with feedback and discussion.
The Slovene partners presented their school and their education system to Greek and Turkish partners. In the afternoons, we have seen many cultural and natural sights (the Open Air Museum and Strmol Manor, Ljubljana, Rogla, Podčetrtek and Olimje).
